Anatomy of Turtle breathing
Author: Jie Kong
Understanding the anatomy of breathing helps to comprehend the process of internal development when breathing becomes a source of obtaining energy.
We’ll discuss the importance of forming a rigid shell around the diaphragm. As the main focus will be on improving the cavities associated primarily with the expansion of the ribs.
During the turtle breathing exercise, we will focus on practicing proper air intake and “swallowing the breath.” As a result, the whole anatomical chain, from the eyes to the peritoneum will be activated, changing the internal pressure of breathing and turning on the pelvic diaphragm.
